Recent federal government policies are directly impacting frontline health care workers, patients, hospitals, and our communities. From firing thousands of public health workers to limiting access to vital public health data, these actions make it harder for health care workers to provide high-quality care and for patients to get needed care.

The proposed cuts to HHS, Medicaid and Medicare would take away health care for millions of people, permanently harming the health of our nation. This is unacceptable and inhumane. Cuts to the CDC and FDA will disrupt infectious disease prevention and undermine patient safety protections.
