Join the ‘Red Alert’ hospital tour in D.C. to save hospitals, protect patients

Trump and Republicans in Congress cut our health care funding to pay for billionaire tax breaks, ICE terror, cruel and illegal wars, and dangerous big tech. Now, more than 600 hospitals are at risk of cuts and closures across the country.

With MedStar Washington Hospital Center’s recent postpartum unit closure, nurses and our patients in DC are already feeling the impact of these cuts – and of hospital executives’ willingness to take away vital care from our patients. But union nurses, patients, and our allies are fighting back to demand care, not cuts, and a healthy society based on care and compassion.

Join National Nurses Organizing Committee/National Nurses United on October 10th in D.C. to protect our patients and community. This is a community-wide, family-friendly event with live music, free tacos, activities, and a free original children’s book and reading!

The event starts at 11am, and rally will start at 12pm. Nurses will also be providing free community wellness checks from 11am to 3pm.
