On November 4th, Californians will have the opportunity to fight back against Trump's election-rigging efforts in Texas by voting on Prop 50, the Election Rigging Response Act. Prop 50 is an emergency measure on the California ballot, which temporarily redraws California’s congressional maps to counterbalance Trump’s election-rigging efforts in Texas.

The Prop 50 campaign is the most consequential election that would blunt Trump’s authoritarian power grab and safeguard fair representation as we prepare for a fight to stop sweeping cuts to Medicaid and the systematic destruction of critical federal programs.

We will be engaging in a widespread voter contact program in California in support of Prop 50. This will include regular virtual phone-banking (M/W/Sun) and in-person Saturday canvasses in various locations throughout the state up until November 4th. Throughout this work, we will communicate to voters why nurses are taking swift action in support of Prop 50 to save our democracy, save our communities, save our patients, and save our hospitals.
