Take action: Protect our patients from dangerous tech in hospitals

The big tech corporation Palantir is partnering with the federal government to enable brutal and illegal attacks on immigrants, observers, and the public, including our patients and our coworkers. At the same time, some health care corporations – including HCA Healthcare and Kaiser-affiliated Cone Health – have begun working with Palantir to boost profits by automating unsafe staffing in our hospitals.

Reporting from Jan. 2026 confirms that Palantir’s surveillance technology even allows ICE and the federal government to target, stalk, and arrest civilians using Medicaid data – even as President Trump and Republicans have cut nearly a trillion dollars in health care funding for Medicaid and Medicare, catastrophically defunding our hospitals and leading to service cuts, health care worker layoffs, and soon, hospital closures.
